Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Sarah Palin Blasts "Impotent, Limp, Gutless Reporters"



SARAH PALIN: "We've got some victories under the belt. Things are, things are going well, and then, then there is that public slam of us. So, we always expect what's coming. I don't read some of it because I know that those that are impotent and limp and gutless, and then they go on, they're anonymous, they're sources that are anonymous, and impotent, limp and gutless reporters take anonymous sources and cite them as being factual references. You know, it just slays me because it's so absolutely clear what the state of yellow journalism is today that they would take these anonymous sources as fact."
