King Officials Delay Christian Flag Decision

KING, NC (WGHP) - In a meeting to decide their next move concerning the controversial Christian flag issue here, city leaders delayed any further action during a closed door session Tuesday.

For more than a month, the city's decision to remove a Christian flag from the Veteran's Memorial has sparked outrage from supporters.

"The flag means something," said Pastor Kenny Heath of Faith Baptist Church. "It's a representation of what we believe in. It's worth fighting for (and) in my heart fight for what's right."
