Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

MSNBC's Rachel Maddow Retracts and Apologizes… Sort Of



(Breitbart.tv) - As noted here at Breitbart.tv and at Big Journalism on Tuesday, MSNBC's Rachel Maddow lied to her audience about a congressman getting advanced notice of the Oklahoma City bombing in order to scare her viewers. [Wednesday] night, Ms. Maddow corrected the record, took full responsibility for the "editing error" and apologized... in her own unique way.
