Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Chris Matthews Favorably Compares Sarah Palin to Bill Clinton



(Eyeblast.tv) - No, he doesn't quite have a thrill up his leg for Sarah, but he does give her grudging credit for perseverance and natural political ability. However, he refers to the 2008 campaign as a "humiliating pounding" while many would consider Palin's contribution to that campaign as the single bright spot for conservatives.
