Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

‘Tonight Show’: Dennis Miller Bashes Nancy Pelosi to Raucus Cheers from Military Crowd



(The Tonight Show) - The stand-up comic and talk show host took the stage at Leno's Veterans' Day special for an all-military audience, and as the expression goes, "he killed." Miller took dead aim at ObamaCare, soon-to-be ex-Speaker Pelosi, and Newsweek while expressing heartfelt gratitude to the men and women who preserve our freedom.
