Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Arianna Huffington: Julian Assange Is No Terrorist

(The Blast) - Arianna Huffington appeared on 'Both Sides Now' where co-host Mary Matalin called WikiLeaks’ Julian Assange a “terrorist.” Quickly thereafter, Huffington went on to defend Assange against the accusation.
