Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. CBS' Harry Smith Turns to Liberal Sen Dick Durbin (D-IL) on ObamaCare's Unconstitutionality



(Eyeblast.tv) - CBS "Early Show" turned to liberal Democrat Dick Durbin on Dec. 14, to react to the federal court decision ruling against ObamaCare's individual mandate. Durbin defended the legislation as "sound."
