Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Justice Breyer: Founding Fathers Were for Gun Control

(The Blast) - Justice Breyer, who is for strict gun laws, appeared on Fox News Sunday to discuss the Second Amendment with Chris Wallace. During a back-and-forth exchange, Breyer told Wallace if you’re a sportsman and live in Washington, D.C, all you have to do is hop on the subway and go to Maryland.
