Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

MSNBC's Joe Scarborough Says 'Judge Not' . . . Then Calls Sen Jon Kyl (R-AZ) And Sen Jim DeMint (R-SC) 'Un-Christlike'



(Eyeblast.tv) - Criticizing GOP senators Jon Kyl and Jim DeMint for their invocation of Christmas in condemning Harry Reid for keeping the Senate in session until close to the holiday, Joe Scarborough cites the biblical passage: "judge not lest ye be judged." He then declared Kyl and DeMint to be "un-Christlike."
