Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Rush Limbaugh Attacks GOP Leadership: “Where Is The Republican Vision?”

(By Jon Bershad, Mediaite) - With the tax cut deal in place (except for Bernie Sanders’ bazillion hour filibuster), it would seem to be all Liberal grousing and Conservative champagne popping. Or is it? Some Conservatives are also not thrilled and one of them appears to be none other than Rush Limbaugh who, today, went off on a fiery tirade against the lack of “Republican vision” on his radio show.
