The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Health Care Repeal Vote Postponed; Boehner Comments On Arizona Shooting Tragedy



(CNSNews.com) - Because of the mass shooting in Arizona, House Republicans have postponed all legislation to be considered on the House floor in the coming week, including a vote to repeal the Democrats' health care legislation.
