Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Keith Olbermann Strikes Again: ‘100% Pigeonsh**’ Limbaugh Obsessed With ‘Bending Over’

(By Jonathon M. Seidl, The Blaze) - Do you think Keith Olbermann lost a bet? That seems to be the only logical explanation for the rash of vulgar tweets he used [Friday].

As we reported earlier, Olbermann got in a war with a reader over Fox News, and ended up calling the organization “100% bullsh**”. Unsatisfied with talk of feces, Olbermann got in another war with a Rush Limbaugh supporter this afternoon and quickly degenerated into tweets that included “pigeonsh**,“ ”bending over“ and ”anal.”

The guy on the receiving end of those tweets put a slideshow together showing how it all went down, starting with the tweet he sent mentioning Olbermann:
