Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Michael Moore: “It’s Difficult For Them To Accept That A Black Man Is President..”

(The Blast) - Michael Moore and Anderson Cooper had a conversation on why some 20 percent of people don’t believe Barack Obama was born in the United States in which Moore thinks ‘mental illness’ lies at the center of it. Moore also stated that race plays a factor because “it’s difficult for them to accept that a black man is President of the United States.”
