On Fox’s 'On The Record', Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer Becomes Emotional Discussing Shootings

(By Mark Joyella, Mediaite) - On Fox News’ 'On the Record' Monday night, Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer became visibly emotional while discussing the shooting spree that unfolded in her home state.

The governor, who held a moment of silence for the shooting victims in her state on Monday, attempted to highlight the life-saving work of first responders–and people at the shooting scene who risked their own lives–to keep the horrific event from becoming even worse. Brewer told Greta Van Susteren Arizona witnessed the best and the worst in people...

“I have to tell you, Greta, we have the people here that are truly American heroes, people who put their own lives on the line to protect other people. And they did it with so much faith and so much courage that it almost makes you think that it’s just something that just could never happen.”
