The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. (Breitbart.tv) - According to Rush, the "Together We Thrive" slogan used at the Arizona memorial service originated from the DNC's "Organizing for America" operation, an off-shoot of the Obama Campaign.
