Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Sarah Palin Impersonator Stuns Crowd at CPAC

(By Jonathon M. Seidl, The Blaze) - Sarah Palin wasn’t supposed to make a showing at CPAC this weekend. But for a moment, some thought she did.

While former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney was getting ready to take the stage Friday morning, a woman resembling Palin strolled through the conference’s lobby, immediately drawing a crowd as people tried to decipher the woman’s identity:

Well thank God the guy who held the camera did such a good job showing us her face, or i would have never known whether it was the real one or not.
