Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

VIDEO: 'SI' Swimsuit Cover Model Irina Shayk Appears On 'Letterman'

(By Glenn Davis, SportsGrid) - Last night, the cover model of this year’s 'Sports Illustrated' swimsuit issue was revealed on 'Late Show with David Letterman' (though most who cared found out before that) – Russia’s Irina Shayk will grace the cover.

Additionally, last night in advance of the reveal, Shayk and several other models from the issue appeared on 'Late Show' to present the evening’s Top Ten list. Appropriately, the theme was “Top Ten Good Things About Appearing In The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition,” and while video of the full list hasn’t been made available yet, you 'can' see Shayk’s joke at the 30-second mark below:
