Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Orange County Councilwoman Receives Death Threats Over Remarks About Islamist Terrorists



(Breitbart.tv) - Hundreds of protesters rallied outside the Villa Park, CA City Hall to demonstrate against Deborah Pauly. She had remarked that her son and his military friends would be "very happy to help these terrorists to an early meeting in Paradise." Police have made an arrest for a death threat made on Facebook against the councilwoman.
