Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Sports Reporter Nearly Hit By Car During Live Report

(By Mark Joyella, Mediaite) - Whatever Ben Higgins might’ve been saying, most likely nobody was listening. From the very first moment of his liveshot, viewers were almost certainly riveted by the white SUV which begins backing up on a collision course with Higgins. As it gets closer and closer, you’re sitting there thinking, am I about to watch a guy get hit by a car? Fortunately, Higgins’ photographer jumps in and gets involved. But hey, no spoilers. This clip is must-watch.
