The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Catherine Zeta-Jones Treated for Bipolar Disorder at Mental Health Facility

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Catherine Zeta-Jones is heading back to work this week after seeking inpatient treatment for bipolar disorder.

A spokeswoman for Zeta-Jones says that “after dealing with the stress of the past year,” the 41-year-old actress “made the decision to check into a mental health facility for a brief stay to treat her bipolar II disorder.”
