Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

SEIU Thugs Arrested in Washington After Shoving State Troopers at Governor’s Office



(KOMO-TV) - The arrests came as labor groups converged on the Washington state Capitol for a third day of demonstrations to call attention to budget cuts they called "immoral." The 17 protesters were arrested following a pushing and shoving match between protesters and Washington State Patrol troopers.
