MSNBC's Donny Deutsch Goes Gaga Over Obama Announcement: 'I Have Never Seen A More Commanding Commander-in-Chief'

(By Mark Finkelstein, NewsBusters.org) - Lincoln's Gettysburg Address. FDR's "we have nothing to fear but fear itself." Reagan's "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall." Meh. Not bad, but nothing compared with Barack Obama's announcement last night of the killing of Osama Bin Laden . . . at least, apparently, in the eyes of Donny Deutsch.

Appearing on Morning Joe today, Deutsch said of President Obama's remarks "I have never seen a more commanding Commander-in-Chief."

DONNY DEUTSCH: "The one thing that people have knocked [President Obama] on is, for the lack of a better word, testosterone. Boy! I have never seen a more commanding Commander-in-Chief than that guy who walked out at around 11:30 last night. Now obviously, the message spoke for itself. But beyond that, the gravitas, the man in control, I think will live with him forever. That was his defining moment: no question about it."
