The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Comedian Jokes About Killing Sarah Palin if She’s Elected President

(By Jonathon M. Seidl, The Blaze) - Comedian Titus tells jokes for a living. And in general, they’re supposed to be funny. But is it comedy to joke about killing a possible future president? That’s exactly what he did yesterday when he quipped about hanging out on the “grassy knoll” if Palin is elected in 2012.

“You know what man?” Titus said on “The Adam Carolla Show” podcast. “I am going to literally — if she gets elected president, I am going to hang out on the grassy knoll all the time, just loaded and ready — because you know what? It’s for my country. It’s for my country. If I got to sacrifice myself, it’s for my country.”
