Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Outraged Canadians Riot After Stanley Cup Loss; Sub-Compact Car Brazenly Flipped Over



(Breitbart.tv) - It takes a lot to bring hoards of peace-loving Canadians out to the streets to riot. A speech at the local college by Ann Coulter? Maybe. A book highlighting the threat posed by Shariah law to Western Civilization by Mark Steyn? Probably. Losing game seven of the Stanley Cup playoffs at home to an American team? Oh now you've got a riot on your hands!
