Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Would-be Chilean terrorist accidentally blows self up

SANTIAGO, Chile (New York Post) — A suspected anarchist in Chile has been seriously injured when a bomb he allegedly carried exploded outside a bank.

Police say 22-year-old Luciano Pitronello Schuffeneger lost his eyesight and may lose both his arms. He's also suffering serious burns and is hospitalized in a drug-induced coma.
