The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. NBC's Ann Curry Touts Dalai Lama Giving 'Comfort' to Obama During 'Fierce Struggle' With GOP

What is the best way, your best advice, in how to find compromise with those you deeply disagree with?"
