Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Realignment: Where things stand now



(By Andy Katz, ESPN.com) - The Pac-12 Conference's decision Tuesday night to remain at 12 teams and not take on Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State allows us to pause for a moment and assess the realignment picture in major college sports.

So where are we now?

This all seems to change by the hour, but let's break down the current state as we know it now.
