Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

MSNBC analyst Donny Deutsch: The OWS movement really needs a “Kent State moment”

After all, we’ve already had the spitting-on-the-military moment, the defecate-on-the-car moment, the call-for-violent-revolution moment, and a whole bunch of anti-Semitic moments, too.  Donny Deutsch tells Morning Joe this morning that the Occupy Movement needs to “grow up” by getting someone shot by The Man, or something, just like at Kent State (via JWF):
