Vernon Robinson Moves to House in NC 8th District to Run For Congress
WINSTON-SALEM, NC (WGHP) - Vernon Robinson has left Winston-Salem.
Robinson, the former city councilman and two-time congressional candidate, has moved to a house in Concord. It's in the 8th Congressional District, where Robinson is a candidate in the Republican primary, which will be held May 8.
"It makes it a lot easier if you are living in a location that is one hour from 80 percent of the Republican voters in the district," Robinson said of the move. The 8th District includes parts of 11 counties stretching from southern Davidson County south to Robeson County.
