Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Another Gaffe? Obama Calls British Embassy ‘English’ Embassy

(By Jonathon M. Seidl, The Blaze) - A couple weeks ago, the president referred to Hawaii as being in Asia. And yesterday, he didn‘t help make the case that he’s not gaffe-prone when he referred to the British embassy in Tehran as the “English embassy.”
