Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Bob Beckel: "You can go to any factory in America and people are going to be outside, smoking dope, having beer...The guy that did that story is a right-wing, the guy has gone out of his way to be a right-winger, he's a wing-nut, interestingly enough did you notice there's no white people in that?"
