Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Reporter Asks Obama: Are Bachmann And Cain ‘Uninformed, Out Of Touch, Or Irresponsible?’ On Waterboarding



(Breitbart.tv) - CNN’s Dan Lothian poses a somewhat loaded question for President Obama at a press conference in Hawaii last night. President Obama did not accuse Mr. Lothian of being a spokesperson for the Cain or Bachmann campaigns as he had with Fox News' Ed Henry when Henry posed a slightly more challenging question based upon statements made by the Romney campaign.
