Alan Colmes to Rick Santorum: I‘m Sorry for ’Hurtful Comment‘ About Handling of Baby’s Death

(By Billy Hallowell, The Blaze) - Yesterday, the Blaze reported on the heated on-air exchange between National Review Editor Rich Lowry and liberal commentator Alan Colmes. Lowry took particular issue with the words that Colmes used to describe the way in which Rick Santorum and his wife handled the death of their infant Gabriel back in 1996. Now, following the spat, Colmes has apologized to the Santorum family and admitted wrongdoing.

On Twitter yesterday, the leftist commentator wrote, “just spoke to @ricksantorum. He and Karen graciously accepted my apology for a hurtful comment.”
