Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

SC Dem Slams GOP For MLK Day Debate; Dems Held Same Event In 2008



(Breitbart.tv) - Chairman of the SC Democratic Party, Dick Harpootlian, takes issue with GOP debate coinciding with MLK's birthday. Fox News' Bill O'Reilly points out that his party held a debate on the same day in 2008. Oops.
