Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Sen Scott Brown (D-MA) To Obama: Insider Trading Bill Sitting On Harry Reid’s Desk Right Now



(Breitbart.tv) - Sen. Scott Brown (R-MA) walked right up to President Obama after this week's State of the Union address and let him know that Democrat Leader Harry Reid was standing in the way of the STOCK Act from reaching the floor for a vote. This was right after Obama had called for such legislation in his address.
