The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. VIDEO: Rain tarp takes out ground crew

JOLIET, IL (TOLEDO NEWS NOW) - The grounds crew for the Joliet Slammers minor league baseball team in Illinois set out the tarp for a rain delay.

They were not expecting the winds to pick up and get under the tarp, which became a rolling wave that knocked out the entire grounds crew.
