Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

RE: RE: Liberalism

Behethland B. Clark responds to Steve Brenneis:

I take great offense at being called arrogant. I believe that the liberal approach is the best for people like myself and others who are low to middle class. The Democratic Party has always been the party of the people and I believe that it continues to be. But that is MY belief. I'm not going around preaching to people and trying to convert them and I'm not claiming to know it all.

I don't see the benefit of this blog if other opinions are going to be insulted. I thought the point was to try and enlighten others to the opposing viewpoints and better understand each other?
