Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

RE: Schiavo Autopsy Shows Massive Brain Damage

Behethland B. Clark opines:

This is such a scary case.

Recently, the dangers of water overdose have been publicized. Athletes are being warned of the potential dangers involved in too much water consumption in a short period of time. The body can lose so much salt through sweat that eletrolytes become imbalanced. Add to that water, which further depletes the salt content and the body can slip into a coma. That's why sports drinks are so important.

I wonder if water poisoning could be detected in an autopsy after this many years? I suspect not. Possible cause of death??
