Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Final Word

And the word I use to describe such people is, "wrong."
And this just about sums it all up, doesn't it?

There is no absolute right or wrong on this issue because there is a fundamental difference of beliefs on when life as we know it begins! So far, there hasn't been a definitive answer from the scientific community on this one, either. I've formed my own opinion based on what I know of basic biology. This is a complex, multi-faceted issue that can not be painted black or white.

We can't legislate morality.
