Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Good Intentions better than no effort at all....

Now this is ridiculous! You can't tell me that Live Aid didn't help to feed starving children. It's this type of attitude that holds back humanitarian aid. You can politicize yourself into a corner and nothing will ever get done. Bob Geldolf and others did what the G8 haven't done.
