The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Supporters Still Want In-State Tuition For N.C. Illegal Immigrants

Well of course! We should give all sorts of special treatment to criminals and scoff-laws. Let's give child molesters jobs in orphanages. How about some jobs at the state treasury for embezzlers?
