Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Can GOP Moderates Exert Power in Party Dominated by Right?

Poor old clueless Mort Kondracke. He thinks the GOP is dominated by conservatives. He thinks Hillary is a moderate. Are you getting senile, Mort?

For those of you keeping score, Mort is a major contributor to that bastion of right-wing propaganda, Fox News. On any given day you are likely to see Mort once or twice on Fox News.
