Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

"Maybe UNC-A is just trying to find more effective ways to get students to attend class."

Or maybe the UNC system has just filled up with Berkeley's rejected crystal worshippers, Birkenstock wearers, new-agers, and assorted degenerates. I wonder if I can use the Cindy Sheehan method, "This is a bunch of crap, so I'm not paying my taxes."
