RE: Withdrawal: WWJD?
And Tucker had a gas attack and relieved himself all over us with this:
I guess this means that Mr. Brenneis is Christian enough to oppose abortion all the time, but not so Christian as to rule out genocide when it is convenient. Never mind that "turn the other cheek" malarkey - just kill 'em all (but not until they're born!).
I suppose that's the kind of hypocrisy that fuels my ambivalence towards the Christian church.
And dear, sweet little juvenile Tucker is such a humanist that he finds it just hunkey-dorey to murder a helpless infant in the womb, all in the name of his or his copulating partner's convenience, but far be it from him to condone defending one's own life, family, or nation from hordes of insanely violent fanatics. Why that would too...ummm...adult, or responsible, or realistic.
And of course the hypocrisy of using this Christianity which he finds so distasteful as a rhetorical truncheon with which to beat anyone who disagrees with him has completely escaped our own dear, open-minded Tucker. He apparently thinks someone has appointed him referee of Christian behavior, regardless of the fact that he isn't within light-years of having any understanding of it.
