Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Stem cell research without limits is a bad idea

I disagree with Krauthammer about his support for expanding federal funding of embryonic stem cell research... I'm against any federal funding of any research... Let the private sector do it, and if they are successful, then they should reap the profits from the research... Just my opinion. :-)
