The Big Easy rocked, but didn't roll
Here is Mark Steyn saying much of what I said last week that had the underwear of our two liberal contributors (and of our erstwhile liberal lurker) so tightly bunched. I present this in the spirit of helpfulness. What I said last week and Steyn says this week is so self-evident that only a die-hard liberal could miss it.
The events in New Orleans are a demonstration of what happens when you create an entire dependency culture. Everything that happens wrong is someone else's fault and everything that needs to happen will have to be done by someone else. The longer we sustain a society that looks to the central government for everything and the larger and more intrusive we make that government, the more things like this will happen. And they will get worse. Count on it.
