Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

RE: Dean: Race Played a Role in Katrina Deaths

I guess Howie figures he has mastered the art of class warfare and has decided to move on to race baiting. I wonder if anyone will remark on his lily-white background and privileged upbringing. Listening to Howie race pimping is almost as amusing (and simultaneously disgusting) as listening to old white bread Algore do it.
