Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

RE: Teaching

"Teaching, of course, is an art."
What do you mean by teaching being an art??? How is that art???

"What type of person do we expect to attract to the profession when the pay is so poor and there is such a lack of respect?"
What do you expect when teaching is a government job???
