Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

The TV Habits Of A Christian Nation?

This Nielsen data does pose an honest question: Exactly how conservative and Christian is this nation? Not very, it seems.

On Sunday night, the American people had clearly defined choices in entertainment: watching sinners or watching someone who may soon be deemed a saint. In the end, they chose Teri Hatcher's great legs over Pope John Paul II's great works.
