Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

RE: What the...???

Didn't Greg Pratt used to live in the Mtn. Rescue building when he was head of it??? If my memory is correct, when I worked for the county, people thought it was odd that he practically lived in a community building and drove around in a Chevy Suburban all day.
